Pictures of the Middle East from the Goddess of Wisdom
A few days ago, Athena, who, in addition to being the goddess of wisdom, runs the very nice Terrorism Unveiled blog, posted some pictures of her travels around the Middle East. The Middle East is a region that has long fascinated me, and it is definitely a place where I would like to spend more time. I certainly enjoyed her photos.

Readers who have been engaged in the very interesting discussion on public diplomacy should definitely take a look at the photos from the Syrian museum, which gives a pretty good idea of some of the obstacles that need to be overcome in order for a settlement to be successful.

Also, her blog is definitely worth a read for the rest of its content.
